Let’s Make the Ultimate Chicken Feeder

April 5, 2016 by livefreeanddiy Leave a Comment

I needed a better way to feed my hens. They were making a mess with the gravity feeders I made for them previously. This new design should work much better (I hope)! Depending on how many chickens you’re feeding, you can use a bucket or a larger tub. This tub is large enough to fill with two 50lb bags of chicken feed, which is more than enough for my needs.

What I Used:

1 Tub
1 3″ PVC Pipe Elbow
Drill (Hitachi)
Miter Saw (Hitachi 10″)
Jig Saw (Black and Decker)
Food Grade Silicone Caulk
