I’ve been working on a big project, some custom racks to replace some old bedroom furniture. I really wanted to use some reclaimed wood I have in my barn, but they’re not square. Without a planer, I decided to make my own planer using a router and some steel angles. It actually turned out pretty great!
What I Used:
6′ x 2 1/4″ x 1″ Plated Steel Slotted Angle (two)
4′ x 1″ x 1″ Plated Steel Slotted Angle (two)
Scrap 2″ x 1″ pine
HDPE Cutting Board
Drill (Hitachi)
Scroll Saw
Router (DeWalt DW618PKB)
Table Saw
